How we handle your family's information, in plain language.
Effective August 2026 · CrossView Christian Camp & Retreat Center, 808 US Hwy 82‑114, Dickens, TX 79229
When you register a camper or apply to serve, we store the information you give us so we can run camp safely and award scholarships fairly. We never sell your information. Health details are seen only by camp staff who need them to care for your camper. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.
Camper registration: the information you provide on the registration form — your camper's name, birth date, and basic details; your contact information and emergency contacts; health information (allergies, medications, medical conditions, physician, and insurance details) so we can care for your camper; learning and behavioral notes so our counselors can serve your camper well; and household information (family situation and income) used only to determine camp scholarships. We also record the permissions you grant — the activity waiver, medical consent, photography release, and baptism consent — along with your typed signature and the date.
Staff and volunteer applications: the contact details, background, references, and answers you submit with your application.
Website analytics: we use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to count page visits. It does not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
We use this information to operate camp: reviewing registrations, awarding scholarships, preparing our staff to care for each camper (including medical and dietary needs), contacting you about your camper or application, collecting camp fees, and meeting our obligations as a licensed Texas youth camp. If you granted photography permission, photos may be used in the camp newsletter, website, advertising, and fundraising, and as described in the Prison Fellowship release on the registration form. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information — ever.
Your information is stored in a secured database (hosted by Supabase in the United States) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access requires an individual staff login, and only CrossView staff who need the information to do their jobs can view it. Health and household information is never shown publicly.
We share information only with the service providers that make the website work — Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payment processing), and Resend (email delivery) — each of which processes it solely on our behalf. Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and never touch our systems. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect a child's safety.
Our forms are designed to be completed by parents and legal guardians, not by children. The information we hold about campers is provided to us by their parent or guardian for the purpose of attending camp. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us and we will remove it.
A $30 deposit is required to complete registration and counts toward your total camp fee. Remaining balances are set after scholarship review. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. For questions about refunds or cancellations, contact the camp office — we work with every family individually.
We keep registration and application records as long as needed for camp operations, our records as a licensed youth camp, and legal requirements. You may ask us at any time to review, correct, or delete your family's information by emailing info@crossviewcamp.org or calling (806) 294‑5021. Some records (such as signed waivers for a camper who attended) may need to be retained for legal reasons even after a deletion request; we will tell you if so.
By using this website you agree to provide accurate information on our forms, to submit registrations and applications only for yourself or a child in your legal care, and not to misuse the site (including attempting to access other families' information). Participation in camp activities is governed by the Acknowledgement of Risk, Waiver, Release, and Indemnification signed during registration. We may update this page from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do.
We're a small ministry and happy to talk. Email info@crossviewcamp.org, call (806) 294‑5021, or write to PO Box 288, Dickens, TX 79229.
